When I returned to the UK after some years teaching in Aus.I brought back many artefacs thinking to use them as aids.Among them was a didgeridoo. It had been in house for some time.before arriving back in UK,Even then it just stood in corner of the lounge.About eight years later a colleague asked to use it,We were amazed when out popped a red back,it was identified by London Zoo,although I knew what it was,I wanted confirmation. It had survived on catching insects etc.,Fortunately no
-one was bitten. My colleague is still at Carterton College.although I have now retired and the didgeridoo is here.
