Spanning over (1 million square miles Western Australia covers one-third of the Australian continent (most of it is harsh, uninhabitable desert.) simultaneously covering different climatic zones. So it can be cool and wet in the south of WA and warm and dry in the north.

Only 15 per cent of the population of WA live in rural areas.

To the West of WA is the Indian Ocean (some of the worlds most pristine coastline) whilst to the East is desert
