I started to build ImmigratePerth.com was because I wanted to provide other migrants with access to information and services. Links and introductions that we didn't have when we first moved to Perth.
Sure there are plenty of websites out there offering services to new migrants but nothing that provides all the information in one place.
For those of you who have followed the site since I first started to build it in 2004 you will have watched
it grow. The site started off with couple of hits a day to over 200 and the numbers keep growing. The site is not advertsised anywhere all the visitors have visited either via the searchengines or they have been referred by a friend, family member or perhaps another migrant in a forum.
There is still so much information we have yet to include in the site and it is all provided at no charge. We have just comitted to spending much more time each week on the site than we currently do. This will mean more visitors (we already get 200 hists a day). So the time has come to start generating an income for the site so that we can afford to put the extra time into building more pages of information and services for migrants who have or are making that move to Perth.
We often get asked if we can recommend various services to new migrants so we have introduced the Perth Service Directory.
