Well we are all ready into the second month of the New Year and Christmas 2007 is a distant memory. Still I would like to wish you all.......
A GREAT YEAR AHEAD IN 2008I hope 2008 brings you everything you have always wished for and look forward to welcoming you to Perth, Western Australia.
The last few months were busy for me as I have been busy helping New Migrants buy their own homes in Perth, the Christmas period was especially busy. That said it was great to get a couple of days over Christmas and Boxing day to chill out (or perhaps I mean heat up as we saw temperatures into the 100's!!!)
What has been added to ImmigratePerth since my last ezine..........
#1)NEW- TEDS AIRPORT TRANSFERS
A UK migrant Ted wanted to help other new migrants to have a stress free arrival in Perth. Ted's Meet and Greet service will personally meet you as soon as you clear customs.
After such a long flight the last thing you need to be doing is climbing into a hire car to try and find your way to the temporary accommodation you have organised.
#2)NEW- NURSE IN AUSTRALIA
Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital sponsors nurses to migrate over to Perth on a 457 Temporary Residency Visa.
#3)NEW - ROBYNS NEST
If your looking for a large house to rent about 45km South of Perth CBD then Robyn's Nest is the place for you.
#4)NEW - A NEW GOVERNMENT AUSTRALIA
Following the Federal Election in November 2007 Australia saw a new Government sworn in by the Governor-General on 3 December 2007. It was the end of an era with the departure of John Howard (Liberal) and the welcoming of Kevin Rudd (Labor)into the role of Australian Prime Minister.
It was my first time voting in Australia. In Australia if you are an Australian Citizen it is a requirement by Law you have vote.
#5)UPDATED - SUBURBS
It has taken me a while but I have managed to update the property prices on the suburb overview pages to reflect the latest details published by REIWA.
#6)NEW - AROUND THE GLOBE
With so many great sites being built about other destinations around the world I felt the need to share some of the best with you. Here you will find links to travel and destination sites built by people with a passion about where they live. Please feel free to explore and enjoy.....
